Eco Stylish Budget Friendly Finds

The time of year has come when many of us will shop to our heart’s content for new items. It’s no doubt that after a season of covering up, many of us are ready to shed off layers and give our wardrobe a much needed overhaul. While updating our look with new clothes is something we are dying to do, some may lack the big budget that accommodates a large desire to splurge. The solution? Develop a plan prior to going shopping. Plan ahead what items you will splurge on and what you may want to buy on sale.
Often while shopping with clients, I help them take assessment of a few things by asking the following questions:
- What gaps in your wardrobe need to be filled in? Do you have items that are interchangeable that compliment all parts of your lifestyle?
- What items do you currently own that you would like to buy a complimenting garment to match?
- What items need to be replaced?
- What can you afford to splurge on?
One thing you should keep in mind is that it’s NEVER wise to spend alot of money on trendy items. When purchasing a trend, keep in mind that it will only be around for a few months and afterwards make your wardrobe seem outdated. So don’t spend tons of money on trends, instead consider splurging more on classic and basic items that serve as a wardrobe canvas.
